Not sure if this has been posted on here. But he has the highest yards per attempt in sec. Our competition hasn't been great but this is a great sign.

I'm sure at this point in 2014 Travin lead the nation in yards per catch and was in the Heisman voting.

According to his many detractors he is just getting lucky. A lot of those passes will inevitably be intercepted against SEC opponents according to them. Before the season they told everyone who would listen to them that he was mediocre at best.

You probably think we should still have Les. Or maybe that Tom Herman is a legendary coach. I would much rather prefer beating BYU than losing to maryland.

Yep. Nevermind that he played the majority of the season last year and didn't have all those interceptions. This year is different. Lol
If you haven't figured it out yet, a lot of criticism is coming from fans of narcisse and Scott.

, y'all are ridiculous.
Suggesting Etling has something to improve =/= wanting someone else to play QB.

Because they don't fit your agenda currently.

We haven't played a team with a pulse yet.
I'm all aboard the Canada Express, but let's see how he looks after a few conference games.

Byu might have a bad offense but their d is pretty good.

Etling has been solid.
22/31
398 yards
71%
1 TD
0 INTs
It is fair to question whether some of those deep balls he completed v. The Mocs would be possible (or even picked) against SEC defensive backs. But it's also valid to question whether Etling would try those throws. He's pretty smart and doesn't turn the ball over.
My guess is that Canada wanted to see what Sullivan could do in a low risk game. And Etling trusts Chark, particularly against subpar DBs.

Etling could throw for 425 yds and 4 TD passes against Auburn or Alabama and our fans still wouldn't give Etling much credit. Instead they will continue to nit pick every little mistake he made to make him still seem average at best.

Mett in first two in 2013 (TCU and UAB): 32/51 (62%), 533 yds (16.6 ypr), 6 Td, 0 int.
Danny in first two: 22/31 (70.9%), 398 yds (18.1 ypr), 1 TD, 0 int.
He hasn't had the same volume of passes, but if all we need is an accurate and reliable QB who keeps the mistakes down... We got it.
