"I have been tired of watching LSU with 21 players on the field the past two years. The QB play over the past 2 years has been absolutely atrocious."

Who thinks this will change this year?

A little skeptical, but full of hope.

I'm just thinking "Chris Leak" and how horrible he was and then came on....at least, that's what I keep trying to use to convince myself that it will be better....

QB rating of 137 = atrocious?

You are, far and above, the biggest pessimist I have ever had the displeasure of having any type of correspondance with. Even on cusp of starting the best time of year you can still do little more than spout negativity.

May the Rant consume you and your useless TD persona and spew your insignificant bones from its bowels.

Have a great day.

Hurts, but Danielson tells it like it is.

Doesn't mean things can't be turned around.

2200 yds, 21 tds and 7 picks isn't atrocious.

Does it need to improve? Yes

As far as I can guess, better o-line play won't make the QBs worse.

I could be wrong, though.

If Jefferson plays 15% better and 15% more aggressively, we can't be beat.

If he doesn't, we lose 4

You can't just look at the stats. You have to look at the whole picture. With the box stacked against the run, 180 yards passing per game is not very good. We all want it to be better and I think it will be.

I don't think Danielson is criticizing the QB as much as he is Crowton.

As a matter of fact, I'm certain of it.

One statement is as relevant as the other.

It seems like a good number to say that it needs to be more than marginal improvement but not drastic.

JJ has every physical tool to be a stud. He just needs to get aggressive and trust his instincts more. My biggest worry though is that he can't let go of his fear of being Jarrett Lee, Jr. It's an irrational fear, to be sure. But then again, we all don't have to deal with internet postings, YouTube videos and a nasty fan base.
