Daniels is the exact same QB he was when he entered college

Numbers say it all. He hasn't improved a lick since his true freshman season and I dont think after 4 years of being a starter that he'll change his stripes. He's not a passer and never will be.

I see quite a drastic improvement tbh. Was kind of surprised at the numbers.

Where did he improve from his true freshman season?

Look at the attempts and yards per carry. Yards per carry are down because he's not getting big plays at the same clip because he's not progressing as a passer and he's also rushing more times because he's not progressing as a passer.

Defenses are forcing him to run but not allowing him to get any big plays. He's completely nullified due to his lack of passing ability.

I literally hate stupid people. I know it's not your fault, but damn.

Are there any variables, level of competition or it's all a straight line to you?

And, he is already locked in as the starter next year.

Daniels can improve and I expect he would improve if he returns next year. He shouldn’t be given the starting job and it should be a TRUE open competition but if you haven’t seen enough from him this year to know the potential is there idk what to tell you

Completion percentage for one. Passing Yards are down, but his rushing stats are way up. I did not watch him a lick at AZ ST, but I’d assume he definitely looked to throw more their for whatever reason instead of taking off and running.

What variables would you consider here dumb frick? Just more drive-by angry homerism likely by someone who defended every snap of the Miles-era offense.

Daniels sucks bud, time for you to sign-off and let the big boys break it down.

A QB humiliated by Arkansas and Auburn to the tune of 80 yards has no business being the unquestioned starting QB for a top-5 football program.

Are those the variables you need? How many 10 second drop backs without a pass downfield do you need? How many 2 yard sideline check downs? How many sub 100 yard passing games? How many missed throws do you need?

Delusion.

So, you are OK with wasting wide receiver talent?

Have you at lease acknowledged that he faced much better defenses this season than he had in the previous years?

Sample size is really small his soph year. He’s been sacked 40 times this year with a o line full of freshman and sophs. That brings the average down. I went on full JD defense yesterday, not because I love everything he’s done but because I think that returning as a starter next year is huge for the team. Unless you think you can go get drake maye or a similar type of elite qb in the portal
