It was targeting and he should have been tossed but I didn't think it was flagrant. Again- it was targeting snd he should have been tossed.

He was intentional. Never see players land on quarterbacks like that anymore. Never, players are taught not to land on them.

Go back to the Bama vs Texas game last season when they knocked out Quinn Ewers. What borh hits had were the defensive players lifting himself completely off the ground and letting his entire body weight land on the QB. That's taught to cause the most pain to the QB. And if an injury happens, o well.

I’m both of these videos, Danielson’s doing the broadcast. In the first one, he’s silent on the flagrant penalty. In the second one, he makes excuses for Turner…”Dart lowers his head…” which didn’t happen.
The tone of the broadcast seemed to change after the hit on JD. I think they knew the whole incident was over the line.
