Maybe the LSU loss did affect his Heisman Chances, however if LSU gets it game against McNeese State the week prior this game is not even close.
Heck the kicker actually missed the try twice.

I think he played very well in our game. Not all Heisman winners go undefeated.

What ruined Dak's chances was that there was a much better player in the LSU game who everyone could see was more deserving of the Heismann.

If I'm a SEC team, Prescott is the last guy I want to see coming down the stretch. He can win games by himself. Great player, MSU starch got taken down a notch when LSU goes in and wins a game everyone had as a loss before season.

What impacted his Heisman chances more than anything is the fact that he isn't Heisman worthy....and THAT is why he isn't in the running. He is an experienced college QB...that carries weight, but the truth is that if he were good enough to go pro, he would have went last year. There is a reason why BH is grading out higher than him in terms of future draft status.

Dak getting Bama at home the weekend after they play us has upset written all over it.

The ability to play in the NFL has NOTHING to do with winning the Heisman.

Texas A&M ruined it not LSU. Game shouldn't have been close though. LSU's penalties made it close. But it was the first game on the road vs an SEC team with a new QB.

What ruined Dak's chances

Is that he doesn't have the support personnel to really be able to show off his ability

Bruh he was graded as a second round draft pick last year. And winning a heisman has no correlation to whether u will be a great nfl player.
Prescott is a great player.

BS

and THAT is why he isn't in the running.

No there are other reasons that tie together. He doesn't have a great supporting cast. His OL is below average and against a good pass rush, he can only go three step and release. His running game outside of him is nonexistent. His defense is inconsistent as well. His numbers, prior to last week, were average for a spread QB. He is improving though, and should have heisman type numbers by the end of the season.

Some guys just don't go pro even though they can. Melvin Gordon stayed and he was a 1st round talent his redshirt junior year. Andrew Luck stayed and he was top 5 material the year prior. Reggie Ragland and CJ Mosley both came back for senior years when they were already 1st round locks (please let Beckwith feel like coming back as well). Even Matt Barkley was supposed to be a 1st round pick his junior year, but came back anyway (which is a cautionary tale for some).

Brandon Harris is playing in a pro style offense with a former NFL OC and QB coach. Harris also has a laser arm. There is a reason why he would grade out better, but Dak is no slouch. Look what guys like Alex Smith (when he was with Harbaugh) Tyrod Taylor, and Russell Wilson were able to accomplish after a few years in the NFL. Even Aaron Rodgers was brought in to be groomed for a few years. Look at Andy Dalton this year. He is finally "getting it".
