A.
At LSU, St. Nick was the man. When he left LSU, he left something special behind. But now he returns in a crimson shirt. Whatever reception he finds here is of his own making.

While we won't get the opportunity to cheer or boo him because he will come out with his team the same time LSU takes the field, I'd love it if we cheered him wildly.

Imagine what that would do to him. I know he still loves LSU and misses Baton Rouge and wishes he were back and would want to come back one day simply because his heart is still here and his greatest achievements as a coach were done here.

Trust me, you can tell by his press conferences he can barely tolerate the Bama fanbase and media.

I'm sure he'll win a national title or two there but his heart won't really be in it like it was here and one of his great regrets I'm sure was leaving for the NFL.

What was interesting was a few weeks ago Terry Saban was on the Finebaum show. A caller asked what it was like for Nick and Terry to be in Tuscaloosa.

All she said was that Nick was thrilled to be back in college football. She never said a word about Alabama or Tuscaloosa.

Cheer, I'm a grateful fan, thanks for all he did.
