everyone is SO convinced 2010 was SO much better than 2009. the D was a little better this year, but its essentially the same team. without the Ole Miss debacle in 2009, LSU is 10-2. without the Tennessee miracle this season, LSU is 9-3. LSU still loses to the upper tier teams (like 2009) and struggle/look terrible in beating the weaker teams (also like 2009). Crowton and JJ, who i personally believe gets unfairly stuck with most of the blame, will both be back in 2011. what's gonna be different in 2011??

Crowton's contract is up. Is it that hard to understand?

Your post is "mostly" true. LSU did show improvement as wins over Florida, Bama and Ole Miss were good. However "use " of brain power from the head man lacked again this year!

This year our coach won 10 games but brought us to the head of the dumb arse class across the nation.

I have been going to game for 38 years and I really enjoy winning, but we just can not get to that "elite" status. Sure we won 2 NC since inception of BCS but we should be vying for that every year. LSU's great history and spirit can bring the talent in ( it is not all LM)

Maybe we are spoiled but I think LM is an idiot and sooner or later we need a leader who has his troops prepared in EVERY aspect of the game. Being prepared ( totally) eliminate mistakes and wins those close game.

How much are u willing to bet that crowton stays?

No way he's here next year, miles gave him one more year after 09 for redemption and he failed miserably

Like who? Is there another coach out there that always has his team completely prepared, never makes mistakes, and wins close games?

10-2 has nothing to do with the offense, if it wasnt for PP and great returns, we are 8-4 at least.

Choctaw if you think LM is the only reason why we win, man you need to crawl back to your TeePee!

The tradition, the campus, the winning record and spirit!!

No doubt it takes a someone who can make it happen but there are guys out there!!

You are settling for mediocrity my man. Look at a Stoops........He has won the Big 12 8 of 10 years............Look at Tressell...........yea.........give my line of " the "Big 12" or " the Big 10".................

Those guys run good clean respected winning, elite programs. If you watched OU play this season, with the offense they run, they must have discipline to run that "fast pace" offense and have success....those guys are disciplined. We can't even call time out when we need to!!

LSU is on the right track but you have to advance and think out of the box!!
