I didn't miss anything. I very clearly expressed that people who use the success of the best active coach and one of the best ever to draw any significant amount of criticism for another one of the top active coaches, or any other coach for that matter, will never be satisfied. Miles has had success against him, which diminishes your argument to an extent as well.

We all wish Les could beat the shite out of Saban and every other coach every time, but it's simply not realistic.

The problem you have is you're great at recognizing the bias of others while being totally oblivious to your own.

The wonderful thing about being a realist on Miles is you never have to wait long for him to do something completely retarded.

Well, I don't know how someone like yourself defines "completely retarded," but there is nothing realistic about demanding perfection and going overboard with hatred and "gotchas" when it doesn't happen.

If the only way to keep you quiet is for Les to never lose or make a mistake, your self proclaimed realism is false.

Miles can't change what Saban did for LSU. That's in the past. What matters NOW is that Les Miles has LSU in the Title Discussion EVERY SINGLE YEAR. That is ALL you can ask of ANY coach.

They played great against USC,I'm surprised.
I was wrong.
I highly doubt many of you will say the same next time Les costs us a game.

Stats and your "facts" can be looked at in whatever way you choose to support your predetermined outcome.
No sense in discussing it further, nobody is going to have their mind changed in either direction.
Only one question:Why is it that Les Miles is an offensive minded head coach and that's always the weak link of our team?
Please give examples of other elite head coaches whose background is the perpetual weakness of their team.

The TRUTH until proven otherwise by Miles. He digs himself into holes with the people he puts around him on offense, he made the righteous choice for DC. Because of our DC will compete for a championship every year. Until Les Miles puts coaches around him on offense capable of developing talent on offense he will always be a little brother to Alabama.

However, he does pull in great recruit after great, he did appoint all of the correct people for our defense to be successful. For that fact I can't judge his offensive woos, the man faced tremendous adversity this pass week in preparation for USCe and he delivered against all odds. I am excited to see how this season will play out and he is the reason for that excitement. I always believe the Tigers can pull off a victory no matter the odds but he does shake my confidence every now and again which causes my skepticism.

Bottom line: Les Miles is one of/the best coach(es) of all time at LSU and to think he doesn't have the capability to surpass Nick Saban's legacy as a coach is blasphemy. The Ole Hat will pull out all the stops to win and I like where our teams head is right now at this point of the season. Something to prove is/has been the best mindset for LSU and history shows that when we are underdogs in Death Valley we show up and play possessed.

After Bama plays a tough Miss St. they have to come to Tiger Stadium where the children of the mississippi rise from the delta and bring he'll and high water.

GEAUX TIGERS BEAT TEXAS A&M!!!

That's not the point at all.
The point is we have a decent head coach,no more.
Elite recruiter, which is the primary reason for his continued success, not to say the same isn't true of other coaches.

The wonderful thing about actually being realistic when it comes to Miles is that him costing us a game here and there doesn't immediately make one wrong about Miles being a great coach.

Miles could cost LSU every game for the rest of the season, and when he is fired, an honest review of his work here will be a great coach who lost it. At this point, only morons have the opinion that he is simply a lucky fraud.

This is not an opinion of Miles, but of the body of his work. It would be true for any coach who performed that way.

Actually I find it a blessing to read the words of the "special" people, I appreciate the effort it takes for the "mentally challenged" to express their opinions, regardless of how malformed they may be. Kudos!!!

I appreciate a little passive agressive trolling as much as pretty much anybody. But you're trying way too hard. It come across like it's become a chore to you rather than something you enjoy and it's affecting the quality of your posts. You gotta let it flow more naturally or you're going to get burnt out.

But it is,you can't just claim your opinion as fact.
LSU spends a ton of money on facilities and coordinators,we have the best of everything money can buy.
Whether people like it or not,a lot of our continued success is attributed to Nick Saban.
He completely restructured our program, and made long term success much easier to maintain.
