14 is a good kid.
He grew up an LSU fan.
He was living out a dream last night.

Victory lap....

Give them credit for giving up a 4 run lead and letting Cotton cruise with a 3 run cushion in the 8th

I'd rather give credit to Nola for being able to pull himself out of his created hell and Cotton for shutting the door.

Number 14 is from Baton Rouge. He moved to The Woodlands, Tx. when he turned 12 when his parents jobs was the deciding factor. His name is Andrew and he and his parents bleed purple and gold.

I'm all for being courteous and sportsmanlike, but understand this: this is the playoffs, and you win or die.

The Box needs to be the most intimidating place on earth for the next two weekends.

Sure, there's more to life than baseball. That's what the other 11 months of the year are for. It's okay to be all about baseball right now.

Yes, Jimmy and Peg are friends of ours. Andrew and my son played ball together at The Woodlands high school.

Absolutely agree. The Box's only intimidating attributes are volume of fans and stadium aesthetics. Our fans are anything but intimidating.

Cool, Andrew is a good kid. It shows from the way his parents raised him. His little brother is a darn good baseball player also!

Well Andrew was in the wrong bullpen tonight and caught shite from about the 2nd inning til he went in the 7th or 8th.

What do you expect? Majority of people who go to baseball games are families and older crowds who don't really enjoy harassing college kids. Some people just believe in going to a game and cheering on their team. Get over it.

He grew up going to games in the former "Box" and was not star struck by the crowd. He lived it. Last I check he struck out two of three batters he faced before his coach pulled him. He is tuff as nails. I am thrill for for Andrew and his family and also glad that LSU won !!!

Same here. I told my daughter that I hoped Sam played a great game, that Andrew pitched well, and the Tigers won.
