Before I went to Verizon I had AT&T and I could never do anything on my phone when around masses of people like games and Mardi Gras and such. Ever since I've switched to Verizon I've had no problems with that.

More people have at&t than Verizon. Verizon will probably always work better in crowds.

Set your sports app to update every college game afterward. That way you don't have to worry about reception. Just check your phone every few minutes and see all the missed updates

I have AT&T, and at halftime I was watching the USC/Georgia game live on cbssports.com on my phone and the picture was nearly flawless.
I have never even been able to check on scores, muchless watch live video before.
