I only noticed the missed tackles..especially the one where the guy was an inch from going out of bounds but still somehow broke the tackle and scored..

He took a very bad angle and the guy turned the corner on him.

The error was in the angle...he had no opportunity to push him out of bounds. To be fair, that guy was very fast and got the corner on us multiple times.

He still takes bad angles and goes for the knockout blow instead of trying to play sound football. He would have had a pick-6 if he had looked up instead of deciding to hit the guy.

+1

He will not wrap up the ball carrier.

He had a solid perfectly timed lick on a receiver to break up a 3rd down conversion.

Helped that the ball was tipped too. He played well yesterday and was all over the field.

He needs to wrap up when necessary and could've had a pick 6 early if he had his eyes on the ball when Allen had the tipped pass. Instead he went for the knock out hit.

That said, it's nice that he is healthy to start the year and hopefully he stays that way throughout.

He seemed like he was on a mission all night to knock guys out. He is an intimidating presence with good reason.

he passed up a pair of INTs so he could go headhunting. if he continues that he will end up hurting the team when he catches a targeting penalty which now comes with an ejection

I like his idea to kill a mfer, but I don't want to see Loston hurt his neck again.

Eta: Hopefully he will pick the tradition back up this year that LL started. Safety blitzing the bama qb into the turf hardcore. Please make this happen Chavis. Just one good arse pop.

He may not have lived up to everyone's expectations but the guy's experience is invaluable for a young secondary. He also has an entire year left to live up to the hype. I have a feeling he will be the difference maker in a couple of games this year.

He is not so great in coverage, and it too concerned with the "big hat" image.

Yes, that does help to intimidate some receivers, but it will cost us in the aggregate due to missed assignments.

All in all, he is solid, but not special like those that preceded him.

Needs to keep his eyes on the ball and worry less about "lighting someone up." Could have had an interception early on.

This has been beaten to death on this thread, but- look for the frickin ball, instead of trying to lay people out. A Pick 6 would have likely locked the game up, as well as make Sportscenter highlight reels. The ball was just floating up there for him.

I know, he can't/won't change what he's doing, but somehow I hope he sees how easy it would have been to score, when they review film.

Someone else laughed when it was suggested he might lose his starting spot, but I hope we have someone getting ready in the wings. If Loston can't bother to look for the ball, we need someone else out there.

Needs to play smarter and with less abandon.

Thoughts are that if he keeps that up he will be targeted by the refs for personal fouls.

Thoughts are that he hit a TCU receiver about three yards out of bounds and should have been flagged.

Thoughts are twice he tried to deliver big hits instead of making the form tackle and bounced off the guy allowing them to make first downs.

If he keeps this up, tape will be sent to the league office, refs will start watching him and he will be flagged often.

Craig reminds me so much of the kid from OK. Drafted by Dallas a few years back. Roy Williams. Very similar styles.

I think most of most of you think he takes poor angles based on that one touchdown. And he could of had a pick six, but y'all are making way to big a deal over it

All in all I think the secondary looked pretty good last night, including Micah Eugene in particular

Its only a matter of time before he gets ejected. There should be a pool to pick the week. I'm taking week 4 against Auburn.

I thought he played well. He missed a tackle on the jet sweep for a TD, but that kid has legit speed. It looks like he dialed back a bit on using his head to tackle. I think he has some big time plays in him this season.

He makes plays, and guys wont want to run across the middle with that dude running around. not a good tackler but still is good at breaking up passes. Could be a play maker for us this year
