Good point. This is worse than 1/9/12, just with fewer posters. But the idiocy is on full display. 
Check out the game thread's last page (page 45) where the guy says he's heard Micah Gibbs is out of baseball and might be available if LSU wants to hire him to coach third base.

Anyone who follows LSU baseball knew it would be a rough year. Hosting a regional would be a huge accomplishment.

Lang should be the Friday starter. There's no logical reason to start your best pitcher second and it probly has played a part in what's happened to Lang this season.

I can see that approach. I think you mess with an aces mind this way though, you're in a way saying I'm not 100% sure you can beat their ace while at the same time putting pressure on the kid by asking him to save the series. Baseball players especially pitchers are very strange creatures you don't want to rattle them mentally in any way and I think this does exactly that. There's a reason not one major league team ever does this. You can't re invent the way the game is played he needs to do things the right way.

Poche is a ace. He's had a bad year but you can't discard his previous accomplishments.

I don't think he's had a bad year. But I don't think he's an ace either. Even if you consider him one by college standards lang has far better stuff.

Yea and I agree he's a fine pitcher I just think langs better and I think when you have an ace like that you put the ball in his hand from day 1 on Fridays. I think when you don't you can fool with him mentally, poche has been a Saturday guy he's a worker and older I don't think him pitching on Saturday messes with him as much. Again this is my opinion I'm not saying right or wrong just trying to get other ppl thoughts on if they think this could work.

I didn't see the game, but I thought the game 1 pitcher should be the best. If you can get to 1-0 in the series, I think the other team starts to press in game 2.
With that said, I haven't followed enough to know if Lange or poche is the best pitcher. Can't get used to Thurs-sat games.

Agreed. They have a rotation and it doesn't make sense to switch thier starts.
