easy to "move." did it many times. kept the bill going to my "office."

it usually helps to make air quotes when telling the satellite csr you "moved."

What about DirectTv, any help

Directv doesn't have Cox Sports - I sent in a complaint about it and they said they aren't getting it and suggested I watch Fox Sports Southwest - I told them its not the same, but they didn't care.

Just did not think about changing it for the game...

Thanks..

so how do you change your service zip code? can you do it on your receiver's setup, or do you have to call dish network and have them do it?

I just called Dish and told them I was moving the Dish to my home address which was sufficient to give me Cox Sports. Also, I now get New Orleans local channels which is nice because Lafayette does not have what they consider an NBC station. Not a big deal, but better. You may be able to do it a different way, but I did it just by calling. I have not had a chance to test it yet but I was told that everything should be working.

Yes all you have to do is call them! and yes your local channels will change depending on what zip you give them. I catch Baton rouge Locals.

So all I have to do is tell them that I am changing my zip code to a BR zip code..I don't have to say I am moving my dish to 124 Jane Street Baton Rouge, 70????

you have to tell them you moved the dish and if they ask you set it up yourself. they probably will not even ask any questions. you may be able to change the billing address back to your house after it was changed to the new house.

Anybody have a way of getting the satellite coordinance for CST/Jumbo Sports for the Regional Games. I watched the 2001 Super Regional at a bar with an old school satellite dish- they had to hunt for it, but eventually found it.

From my understanding from this thread I just need to tell them I moved the dish and that I want to keep my billing address the same.

Is there anyone that would be willing to put up their baton rouge address for like 1 min so I can use it as an address for my dish if they ask me.
