Heard him today say he thinks Bama is going to beat up on LSU Saturday. He said night game would be better becuase there are "freaky" things that go on down there.
Is this guy a complete and utter idiot? freaky things? what we drink all day so that is freaky?

Coherd is an entertainer and it was actually entertaining imo.
Most of the time Coherd is funny as hell and very entertaining... let's just hope he is wrong Saturday afternoon.

i wasn't upset about the predicition, i think we are in for a long day. why is there a perception that we are just on mars to the rest of the world? perception is reality in this day and age and this does nothing to help us.

It is significantly more interesting to talk about what is different about schools, teams, regions, etc. than it is for a talk show host or writer to emphasize the sameness. So, of course the differnces between La. and the rest of the country are going to be exaggerated at times. On balance, I will live with that. No one is saying that anything "freaky" goes on before a night game in Nile Kinnick Stadium.

I listen to Cowherd pretty often. It appears his mouth runs a good two minutes ahead of his brain. No big thing. He'll say something else next week.

guy makes a prediction that could easily come true and people get their feelings hurt... isn't this the same guy that called lsu the best team the last decade... i think he' the best there is out of all the national radio guys

i listen to cowherd every day, i heard him say that this morning and fear he is right on. cowherd said early in the year if perriwho was at lsu we would be a contender based on the depth of our team. yet that was before georgia and florida hung 103 on our defense(- lee's 6 pix sixes)he gives sec and lsu credit ALL the time, so get over it.

He actually called LSU the best BEFORE they won the title last year...I like the guy!
