Only if he was playing at Bama

Good god. Hurts isn't even good. He is a running back playing in the qb position. Horrible passer, and one of his long runs had three holds on it... I would hope he was better than hurts.

You are such a fricking troll. He is a horrendous passer....I don't GAF if he had 4000 yards against sorry teams. I would want him at LSU. He does fine with bamas line...good defenses would shut his non throwing arse down if he played at LSU. You really are a pos and a troll on here.

What's funny? He looked like garbage until the refs allowed holding and LSU wore down in the 4th. Like nasty garbage.

Considering Hurts isn't that great of a QB. Yes. Could Lindsey Scott be better than Jalen Hurts, most likely! If we ever have a true QB competition, I"m sure Scott could showcase what he can do
whatever/whoever helps us win games, I'm fine with that.

Hurts only really hurts you with his feet. Very average passer, but looks better because the D is so damn worried about him runnning. He'll be a wr in the pros

LSU has a good defense. Most of our QBs look like garbage in Death Valley at night.
and spare me the ref excuse.

Wtf do you know shite face?
Why all the no's and the pubescent delivery?

Hurts is absolute trash. He's a scatback who can't throw to save his life. I sure hope whoever takes the reigns is much better than him

Yes, as good a runner and a superior passer. Scott is very talented.
He hasn't played a down of College or SEC Football.
No evidence at all that LS will be a "Superior Passer" at the college level.
5'11" seems kind of short to be an effective passer in a Big Boy Conference like the SEC. He'll have trouble seeing the field over his Offensive Linemen!

Lindsey Scott won't play a down before he transfers. U got seniors next year and Brennan behind them. He will be starting at Southern next year

I merely posted Hurts' stats, Dunbarton. Don't know how that makes me a troll.
And of course quality teammates help a QB's performance and Hurts has the advantage of playing with 5* players. But his stats are his stats.

I agree with you. I think hurts is gonna be a damn good qb as he develops. He's got an arm just needs to develop. How many true freshman will be great passers? As far as Scott he's smart athletic and has a strong enough arm. From all accounts he's tough to deal with at practice. Just because he's not 6-2 ppl count him out. If I were a coach at Lsu with our recent history at qb I wouldn't count anyone out. Sometimes the Answr is the unlikely one.

quote:Why don't you tell that to Herb Tyler when he played in the SEC?? Or ask Russell Wilson if it ever stopped him from following his dreams?? shite, Drew Brees is probably the same height as Lindsey Scott. Not much of a difference. Yes, shorter height has been a hindrance for some, but for a person that really wants to be a QB it won't make one bit of a difference to them as they excel playing football.

And my eyes are my eyes. He can't pass.

Hurts is a rb playing in the qb position....and playing with a tremendous supporting cast. It is easy to see.

Yes yes yes yes . A true Freshmen came into Tiger Stadium and won the game he made it happen . LK is the brains behind the whole Bama offense.

maybe he is or maybe he isn't. He just got on the team last year and hasn't played in a game.

I see many similarities between the two quarterbacks
both are black? what else? They aren't built the same. Scott appeared to be more accurate from what I saw of him in high school. Neither has a rocket arm. Hurts appears faster and a better runner.

We don't really if he is.
Our coaching staff is so stuck on letting one guy play.
