I know many people are calling for coach Lee Mills to be fired from the team. I think he is a great coach and should stay. but lets say if y'all get you're whey..and he gets the boot...do you think he could land in the NFL as a HC or DC?

Hard nosed coaches (except for Bill Belichick) don't do very well in the NFL anymore. I like to think Miles would do ok in the pros.

I think Coach Jalen does have a shot at coaching in the NFL.

Yes, I tell people around here at work that aren't tapped in to tigerdroppings...they all say that there is a line waiting outside his door with teams wanting him to coach for them. He will have no problem going anywhere he wants.

You can blame our situation at LSU, on our fan base nega fans, the boosters and Alleeva for what is taking place...

Who in there right mind would want to come here and coach after seeing how Les is being treated...unreal

I know this is a troll;

Miles is too old and settled to be an assistant at this point. So that's out, for that angle. Plus, he's an offense guy. He coached Tight Ends for the Cowboys, so no to DC.

Personality- he could probably step in and be a head coach at a number of teams. Coaches are personality, not scheme. Barry Switzer coached the Cowboys to a Super Bowl.

Miles could take a good group of players and a good staff, and put in a tight-knit, positive atmosphere into the team. For example, he could take Atlanta and they would likely go 11-5 and make the playoffs. In this example, you would have the talent to compete, and you need to get the team to relax and gel together. Miles can do that, whereas Saban for example would likely cause a lot of strife.

Miles probably couldn't come in and fix a bad team, not now. 8-10 years ago and with a 5 year plan (like Carroll in Seattle), he might have been able to.

So it's the fans fault that the LSU football team has gone 8-7 in Conference play the last 2 years, been blown-out 3 in a row this year, 2-6 all time in bowl games, offense not evolving, not recruiting enough LB and DL, not developing the QB's?

So it's the fans fault that LSU is on tdecline and slowly turning into a shitshow?

LSU could finish 6th in the west this year, you tracking that right?

Yes he will. ESPN is reporting, I think, that Miles is being sought after for the OC job in New England. Looks like people are finally starting to catch on to his genius.

Lee was a tight end coach at Dallas. Heard they have an opening there.
