I guess adversity only counts when it's the #1 team.

This team had two heartbreaking losses, lost its coach and live tiger mascot. Not to mention got behind 10 points in a big game and survived it all. Everything they wanted at the beginning of the season is there. Beat bama, conference title and playoffs are still there.

I think this team has no problem handling adversity.

He has shown he knows how to keep the players excited, physically prepared, mentally prepared, keep the fans super excited, passionate, and coming to the games, and is letting the staff doing what they're supposed to be doing.

Idk what you're seeing, but from my end, he's looking pretty damn good as a HC. We'll see what happens when the SHTF when we play the gumps. If he can manage that game, he can manage the team

Eta: It's like you guys think people don't ever learn anything, and can't ever advance in their career. If he gets demoted, I don't see him ever coming back. That's a pretty big slap in the face. This is his dream job. There is nothing better in the world in his eyes.

Since everyone loves Aranda, I figured I'd throw this out there. New HC = new staff. We might lose him

I'm pro coach O but I have enough sense to know we should wait to see how this all plays out. Even if he wins out I'd want to see a full season before signing more than a year or 2.

Are you kin to Coach Eaux?

I don't have a problem hiring him, and I don't see why everyone is so high on Herman, he lost to SMU, very badly, plus he hasn't been a coach but a couple of years in a non Power 5 conference...not so sure Jimbbo is the answer either...
Hard to tell who would be the best guy for the job, but there is no hurry to hire anyone @ this point...
The only reason I would hire Eaux would be to keep most of our staff intact...but if we hire Hermman, I would think Aranda would stay....
So, I am so confused, think I will just jump off a low bridge...

Having to play them after the Bama slugfest. Two on the road. A&M on four days rest. I think the murderer's row moniker is apt.

A&M is probably the only team that has shown a pulse.

Arkansas just got their dicks handed to them.
Florida hasn't beaten a team with a pulse.
A&M is the only decent team left after Bama.

Lets face it. 2/3 best teams we played happened before O took over.

Actually, we were also favorite to beat Wisconsin and Auburn also. The difference is the players have responded to Coach O. I truly loved Les Miles and everything he stood for as a respresentive and ambassador to LSU and the state of Louisiana, but sometimes its a coach or leader has gotten a team as far as he could.
