Even when Les won you could not tell who had the better players.

Coach O said something that was music to my ears.

"WE AIN'T SITTING ON NOTHING WE PLAY FOR 60 MINUTES!!"

Not so fast home boy. I want to see some serious adversity...like we will in all likelihood see in two weeks. If he navigates the Bama game with a win or a close, competitive loss with no frick ups at the end or handing them the game or similar such BS....then start negotiating with him.

Give Coach O the freaking job he showed what he can do in 3 games and that's all I need to see. I'm sold I'm all in with the Cajun.

Those three teams have a combined record of 8-12.

Probably any coach on the LSU staff could be 3-0 facing those same three teams.

Can I have some of what you are drinking?

You probably got married to the girl you knocked up in Junior High.

I am glad you don't run this multi million dollar empire.

There's a HUGE difference between coaching a team for a handful of games and building/sustaining a program. Coach O needs to goto a smaller school and prove that he can do that year and year out, then may need he will be ready to be a head coach at a major school.

That Ole Miss win was a start. We were humiliated by pretty much the same team last year.

He don't have to know X & O. He has to manage coaches and players.

He will hire an excellent OC to go along with his excellent DC. That's how Bobby Bowden won so much.

He just was the face of the program and when FSU needed to close the deal on a recruit Bowden walks in and do what he does best deal with people. Les would have been like Bobby Bowden but he refuse to change. Coach O knows that the Lsu job is hire the best let them do their job and win. TWIW the last 3 games.

Do you morons own your own business?

If so, do you have any job openings for a vice presidency? I would like to apply.

I've filled in for some executives while they have been out on vacation, so I'm over qualified for the job.

What's the deal with the morons on this board who can't differentiate between a quality win and simply winning? LSU has been playing extremely good football under Orgeron, and it's fun to watch. The next few weeks will be pretty telling but the brand of football we've been playing, compared to Les Miles football, is nothing short of incredible. I don't know if O is our guy yet but to act like we've just won against shite teams is a pretty fricking dumb outlook on things

The results was right on point for teams with that record.

Not to long ago. LSU beats mizzou 25-21 LSU beats Southern miss 27-17 and lose to old miss.

I seen adversity vs old miss.

Down 10-0

Went up 21-13 fumbled inside 10. Old Miss tied it up 21-21 at the half and they get the ball to begin the 3rd qtr.

Result after halftime? TOTAL DOMINATION!!!

Does that count as adversity?

No because we were clearly better on both sides of the ball against OM.

We wont be against Bama.

Thank you.

I'm not ready to risk such an important hire on a guy with a not too stellar head coaching record.

This hire is way too important for us to mess up. I'm totally fine with relegating O back to DC and giving him a solid raise for his contribution towards keeping the program stable. Then hire a strong head coach.

However, if he goes on and runs the table (Yes that includes handling Alabama) then sure, lets look at him.

Nana is Nana but I bet LSU does not repeatedly run the ball into the teeth of the defense in two weeks.

This is not rocket science. Herman is doing what I thought he would do at LSU. That is lose. Give me O put the fence up around Louisiana and win. BIG!!!
