All good in the hood. Not washed away yet, but yeah, every afternoon. We watched in Powder Springs (didn't want to fight the traffic!), but you saw a great one. The thought of this upcoming season gives me wood.

Oklahoma calls Nebraska corn dogs. Some moron from Auburn stole it and attached it to us. Makes no sense but not much at Auburn does. Just call us champs-more appropriate.

They had nothing on us, so they did the elementary thing to do and make up a childish name. Personally I love corn dogs. I wish we had a corn dog emoticons
You could make one out of this image.

As you can tell by my screen name I don't mind it a bit. As a matter of fact I've been called corndog at tailgates since 04 when the crap started at AU.
The Nebraska deal in the 70's is where it started but it doesn't shock me that it's the best AU could come up with 30+ years later. In 04 after AU started it we started joking about it then went to the UGA game, I bought about 50 frozen corndogs on the way to the tailgate with HATT and everytime a UGA fan would say it I run and give them one.. The name stuck and 50 lucky UGA fans go a parting gift.

I have heard this also. However if you ask an Auburn fan where it came from they blame a reporter for from the bama student paper for starting. Apparently he said our stadium smells like corn dogs. I do not even think we serve corn dogs in TS or that we ever have.
I will say this though. Last year my wife and I with some friends went to tuskalooserville and cooked a jambalaya. The guy that was running the Bryan Sausage truck selling food came by to see what we were doing. He check out all the equipment that we had brought from BR and watched us cook for about 30 minutes. He the told us that he had to get back to the truck but he would like to come back and get a plate when we were done cooking. His reason was that they do not do tailgating like we do and all they do is boring BBQ. We fed about 80 people that day, 50 LSU fans and about 30 bama fans. This was also by for the best experience that I have had in tuskalooserville ( no food or drink thrown and no toothless hicks cussing us out). The fans in this area were very nice.

For real though...it doesn't get to me. It's neither an insult nor a compliment. It's like if someone called me a desk chair or something...it's kinda meaningless. Although, if they insist on giving a dumb nickname, you might as well take it in stride.
this.
ok, i'm a desk chair. (that loves corn dogs.)

Corn dogs anyone?
I heard this the entire time we were in Ttown last year during the game. Finally asked a fan and apparently some Auburn fans were down here for a game, said there was a smell in tiger stadium and no one could figure it out and one said corn dogs. So that's the funniest joke in Alabama. and then it spread. I dressed as a corn dog for the BCS, because I figured I would embrace it. I do like corn dogs. Making my suit better for this season.
Actually, an Auburn idiot copied and pasted some "corndog" references from Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska message boards and made up his own fantasy about LSU.
Apparently they call each other that up there, but it has no meaning whatsover down here.
But Alabama people being Alabama people, they took it and ran with it and somehow still believe it has any relevance at all to LSU.
It really is pretty stupid.
