Chances are thompson practiced really well over the last two weeks a la bowl practice. Also jefferson has had a rough last couple games

That is actually Jefferson's strength and he is good at it outside of the wet surface against WKU. I believe Adams is better, but Jefferson's position allows him to be more prevalent there. Still a risky move against the first downhill running team we have played all year to not play him.

He's been awful in coverage is the fact. Not awful in run support.

He's probably speaking of the big 3rd down pass interference that could have held Bama to a fg on their first td. I don't believe you can put it on the defense though. A lack of offense seems to have led to a tired defensive front. As for myself, tired of seeing us struggle on that side of the ball.
