Haven't seen LSU do it like this all year long. They didn't even do it this well against the "cupcakes" on the schedule. Hats off to the front seven, Loston, and Chief.

And we did it without our second best DT

I was surprised by this more than anything. Way to go and showed they wanted this win for Les, I think.

I though the D played their best game.

Iowa's running game was overrated. Our defense seemed to have more trouble with smaller speedy backs like Tre Mason or do-everything guys like Todd Gurley. Still a very impressive game by our front 7 even without our best defensive player.

Just possibly he didn't play his run assignments as well as the guys out there today.

I was not at all impressed with any of their skill players.

I thought Freak had his best game as a Tiger today. Glad to see he wasn't mailing it in before going pro.

It was good to see but they weren't anywhere near the power running team that the media hyped them up to be.

It was still disappointing to see our MLB get completely washed out of 80% of their running plays though. Hopefully one of the younger guys can step up next year.

Barrow had his best game. He was filling the holes and getting to the outside in pursuit. Idk about Johnson's game. He was on the ground a lot. and not making tackles

Welter had a good game against Iowa. I'm not the biggest fan of his but why can't he be given due credit when he has a nice performance? The Welter hate is getting ridiculous.

imo, welter is the whipping boy de jour on this years team. i suspect some racism is involved and probably as much by white guys as black guys. yes, we had a weakness up the middle but he did improve and played a pretty good game yesterday. in fact it looked to me that all 3 of our starting LB's played their asses off yesterday.
