Honestly they should all just do this and ignore Javi's bullshite

Driving home from the games I listen to the post game show, and the tigers score a few runs, and get a few hits, Mainieri never misses an opportunity to praise Javi, and what a wonderful job he's doing with our hitters. Like he's a steal, and we're so lucky to have him. What a joke.

The last time I checked a couple weeks ago both our strikeout and walk % was lower than last year's. It honestly wouldn't bother me if the strikeout number was a little higher because it would most likely mean we were working deeper counts, drawing more walks, and being more selective...which would hopefully lead to more consistent hard contact.

We put way too many "pitchers's pitches" in play early in counts. There is no reason to be so defensive without two strikes.

If I see another one of our guys swing at the first pitch immediately after the previous batter was walked on 4 or 5 pitches, I will pull my hair out.

Or bunting that first pitch too.

So Stevenson fixed his batting approach in the summer.

And Hale fixes his batting approach by watching YouTube.

Paul is undoubtedly the #1 coach in the SEC. If he sees fit for players to use technology to improve their hitting stroke so be it.

Sarcasm is so fun!!!

Well we are best in the SEC in fewest strikeouts and by a very large margin.

No we just hit weak arse grounders and lazy pop ups. It's plain as day the weaknesses on this team are hitting and base running. Javi is in charge of both.

But hey at least we don't fricking strike out!!

Y'all be careful. Russian here will be the first to tell you about how LASER FOCUSED the team is when your boy is running the all-important pre-game team meeting in the outfield.

WHERE WOULD WE EVER FIND SAID PATTON-LIKE LEADERSHIP WERE HE TO LEAVE?

We must be doing something right to win as many games as we have. Again, I'm not taking blame away from Javi. I think we could do a lot better. But God some of you sound miserable. We have a very good team. Enjoy it.

Just go with your volunteer coach!!

When Godwin left that is how we found the new/current hitting coach.

So a kid looking for tips from a mlb player means LSU doesn't have a hitting coach?

It means his current hitting coach couldn't fix the problem, so he had to do it on his own.
