Congratulations to our Softball All Americans

Jaquish, a first-team catcher, became the first player in school history to earn All-America honors all four years and just the 33rd in the history of the award.
Also Congratulations to Layna Savoie for winning the Elite 90 Award. Savoie earned the award as the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site of the NCAA's Championship.

We don't always appreciate how good Allie Walljasper is. She is sometimes in the shadow of the more flamboyant Carly Hoover yet she just winds up and give one great outing after another without much fanfare. Great to see her recognized as one of the top six pitchers in the country. Hoover belongs in that group also but the injury threw her off toward the end of the season.

Soooo excited for the tourney to start and hoping we can take the first all important game!!!!!! I know there will be lots of LSU FANS and they will be loud and proud!!! The diehard SISTERS (sec 103) will be there in full gear and volume

It's still bashing away behind the scenes by way of down voting. It outed itself on that facebook crap a few days ago with a comment. (I don't do facebook; was reading an article about the softball team that one of my employees showed me from their facebook account) Sure enough, ol' educote was there to make an arse of itself. (and yes it was the same educote that rears its ugly head on this site).
