They would give Chad Jones a season long suspension for that hit in this day and age of football.

He actually took the worst of that hit. He was the one that stumbled around and had trouble getting up.

that’s Chad Jones who’s playing the ultimate center field

Followed up with probably Verne’s best delivery of “Tigers Win!”

I’ve just about memorized all those highlights.

I was sitting 3 rows off the field in that endzone. It felt like you could hear a pin drop right before the hit, and then crash. I honestly thought the dude’s head came off for a second. Most violent hit I’ve ever witnessed.

Good for his son

At the time it was a clean hit, today he would have been thrown in jail for a hit like that. I was sitting about the 15 yard line maybe 40 rows up so I got a good view of it. Can't remember if it drew a flag or not for how vicious it was.

I was going to post that he’s ‘26 also.

My kids team played Southern Lab this year. Jones, Jr. was all over the field. I believe he is in the 6’ and 200 lbs or so range.

At the time it was a clean hit, today he would have been thrown in jail for a hit like that unless he played for the gumps. Then it would have been fine.

Just like with UHigh, we’ve got to start keeping these Southern Lab kids home.

Hopefully they wont have to vacate/forfeit the title this time because of their "financial aide" program.

During the same game as the PP7 Windmill punt return vs. Miss State, let's not forget about that 3rd down pass deflection over the middle that would have been completed to an open tight end behind him in the end zone.
