Chad had so many great moments as a Tiger - I’ll never forget the last play of the 07 Florida game
Verne: “that’s Chad Jones who’s playing the ultimate center field”
Batters having no answer for the Dreadlocks of Doom
The punt return, complete with PP7 Windmill, against Moo to bail out the putrid offense
Of course The Hit vs. Arky that was just good safety play.
Honestly I can’t off the top of my head think of another LSU athlete who contributed more to national championships in two different sports.

For all the impressive defensive plays Chad made, his most impressive one didn’t result in a tackle. He chased down Arkansas’ great running back Darren McFadden, making up about 4 yards on him in a 30-40 yard span. Just as Chad caught him, an Arkansas receiver got just enough of a chip block on Chad to prevent the tackle. (For those who don’t remember, the guy he ran down ran a 4.38 at the NFL combine).

If there’s any justice in this world or if karma is a real thing, this kid comes to LSU & wins a Thorpe award, gets drafted 1st round & has a hall of fame NFL career. Oh & closes out game three of JJs 6th World Series championship just because!
