QB. Will Mett come through. Will Mett get injured early and be nagged throughout the season with injuries? Will his backups come through?
that's about it

What are your greatest concerns?
1) One more CB and S to step up and answer the call.
2) Bama will be throwing Smash again 11-3 until LSU stops it.

What are your greatest concerns? We are all stoked about this year but something just doesn't feel right about this season.

My greatest concern is I watched the frickin ALA spring game highlights and they threw that damn screen pass eighteen times (exaggeration) and If LSU bites on the run game in those instances we may have a potential concern there. To be honest, they looked good and deceptive on offense. That has just stuck in my memory.

Watcha got. Just curious.

Mental Preparation week in and week out. Nobody seems to
recall the grind that is the SEC since we blew through most of the
season last year. It will take great leadership to do that again imo...

That the game on Nov 3rd is tight and Miles makes a stupid time management decision that cost us a win.

My greatest concern is watching, to quote Lou Holts- "Zaachh Metzenbauhnmmer" light it up and thinking, WHY DIDN'T HE GET A CHANCE LAST YEAR.

But really, we are potentially going to lose a ton of juniors early if we win it all. Reload!

It doesn't feel the same this year because we are not starting out with a big game against Oregon to set the tone for the year. Having that game really helped us out. Instead of looking forward to the year as a whole, we just looked forward to that one game. I think it put a mindset into our players minds to take one game at a time and not look forward.

To answer the original question, I'm most concerned with replacing Reuben's height at receiver and not having the depth that we've been used to seeing at DB. Also, not having a proven "lockdown" cornerback is a little concerning as well. Don't get me wrong, TM7 is great at in his role, but he is not a lockdown cover corner. Tharold Simon has great potential, but it will be interesting to see if he can fill the shoes of Mo and/or perform without the comfort of having a lockdown guy on the opposite side.

Time will tell but I really wish we were opening up with a little more stiff competion to prepare for in the opening game. Even if the North Texas and Washington games were reversed it would be better.
