Concerns about Washington tickets

The Ticket Exchange Board has worked out for me every time I needed it for away games (except for SECCG and BCSCG tix). And failing that, Stubhub.com is worth trying.

You can get the tickets at the game even when popular teams like USC and Washington are good, nothing like the hype for college football out there you have in the south. Don't worry.

You'll be fine. There will be scalpers and tickets available. There always is...

We are usually the game that is circled for both non-conference and conference games for opposing visitors to go to... especially early in the season when the weather is still great.

UW is one of the few BSC schools in a major city, is a location many people want to visit, and Husky Stadium /arriving by boat is something a lot of fans find interesting so we get a lot of opposing fans vising year in and year out - even the past 5 years when we have truly sucked.

Ironically, out of Ohio State and Notre Dame, Boise State sent a TON of fans two years ago. They wanted so badly to beat a Pac 10 team in their own stadium. Fortunately, they didn't get to that year but punked Oregon in its "vaunted" Autzen Stadium the very next year.

I'm looking forward to LSU and am very much looking forward to visiting LSU in 2012. Although you will probably not see it in 2009 because of the past several years and what Ty did to our fan base and program, a lot of people said Husky Stadium was the closest the West had to an SEC type tailgate - yet SEC games still took the cake. It's still fun and hopefully Sark will bring it back, but Ty sucked the life from the fans and the program and it might take more time than the LSU game to get it back...

dude, washington sucks, tickets galore, take a chill pill

Since I live in Austin I only come in for a couple of home games each year, primarily for the atmosphere. I just don't go to away games except bowls. Also I've been to the Seattle area a number of times so wasn't planning to attend the game. But after watching an episode of "Diners, Dives and Drive-ins" featuring Bizarro Italian Cafe, I may end up making the trip to eat at this place as much as see the game. I hadn't stumbled across it before but it's now on my must-do list.

The Ohio State game sold out, I think it was the fourth largest crowd in school history.

Despite the bad record over the last six or so years our Dawgs have still managed the highest average attendance in the PAC10 other than USC (who has a much larger stadium). UW in it's worst years in history still averaged 53,000 per game and sells out the big games.

Washington will be excited b/c of opening week/night game/televised/new coach/top opponet/etc..you should still be able to get a ticket fairly easy though.

They went goose egg and 12 last year.

Ticks thru us or them will be abundant..............

Students will not be in school. You are right... But, they don't sell the student tickets to fans so that won't help you... It just changes the game day experience and loudness a little.

Not all as some won't even be on campus yet. But there will still be a good showing - just not the same.
