his elite salary
When you separate yourself from 99% of your peers by winning a NC, you get the elite salary from your elite performance.
You also get higher expectations of your future performance. Not expectations of perfection, but reasonable expectations that you will win/compete for titles. We haven't seen that since 07, so we need to see it in the next couple of years.
Most of us know this and so does Miles.
It's not bout being happy. It's bout understanding how hard it is to win the SEC, respecting what was done before, and being willing to see if it can be done again without the non-stop, by some, pissing on everything and stooping our feet like 2 year olds.

Miles shot himself in the head when he got rid of RP. Now that everybody knows this, it should give him some time to get it back together......
has it? The ranters do not think so......

other great coaches" is implying that Miles is also "great", which as we all know he is not.
First off, that is the reality of the situation. For you Miles lovers, great coaches rebound from down years- LSU has not rebounded since Miles' 1st 2 years of success- until he can do so, which means 3 losses or less, year in & year out (especially with our talent level), he will never be seen as even a very good coach. The ball is in Miles' court- prove to us you can be a 'great' coach...but I doubt he will achieve...

Not to mention that if Saban doesn't precede Miles, there would be no MNC in 2007. It's the cold hard facts.
ok, then without shula saban doesn't win a championship at bama.... without ron zook urban meyer doesn't win any championships. Saban is winning with shulas players.

You say what you want about Les Miles
OK. He does not belong on the same page as the other coaches. I just hope he does not last longer than the Lost series.
