First off, I'm looking forward to what has turned into the real SECCG.

I've been reading this board for the last week and just wanted to dispel some rumors I've been seeing over and over.

1. Bama will load the box to stop the run...
This isn't something I've seen a Bama defense do in quite a while. The DL and LBs are good enough against the run that the only time safeties creep up into the box is for a rare safety blitz. LF7 and DG are certainly great backs, but barring a total collapse by the front 7, Bama will not load the box to stop the run.

2. Jalen Hurts will get rattled...
No doubt DV will be rocking Saturday night, but this kid is the most poised true freshman I have ever seen. I will be totally shocked to see him get frustrated enough to get off of his game. He's certainly no 'Steve Barkowski' when it comes to the long ball, but he's cool under pressure and tends to come back strong after negative plays.

3. Bama's corners can't play man-to-man...
While it drives me totally nuts that these guys don't always turn around to look for the ball, the corners DBs in general) are very fast and are playing pretty well. They got burned a few times by Chad Kelly, but who hasn't? LSU will probably connect on a couple of deep balls, but I doubt it will be enough to decide the game.

This is the biggest myth and all that needs to be talked about honestly. Bama hasn't needed to stack the box. They're front 7 has dominated LSU's o-line the past few games.

I can't wait for Hurts and Key to have a play date.

If the number of downvotes is proportional to my fears, I certainly must be.

Kelly is a much better QB than Hurts... Kelly got rattled a few times. Hurts youthfulness is an advantage to LSU.

Kelly is definitely a more polished passer, but Hurts maintains his composure much better than Kelly.

Bama oline is much better than Ole Miss' though. We won't get very many free shots at Hurts and his ability to scramble is much better than Kelly's. It's going to be a tough night and LSU will have to play an almost perfect game to win.

But all Bama fans are related right? That can't be a myth

The most hostile environment in which he has played was in Arkansas.

They got burned several times, to the tune of 425 passing yards. They also got burned several times vs Arkansas.

And, to your question, LSU didn't get burned by Chad Kelly.

Odd that the OP didn't address the views on officials favoring Bama. Must be fact.

1. The point is that in the past you could load the box without paying any price. Because we could not complete short and mid range passes, and didn't throw to our TE and RB's. Now, we have at least a chance to force you to stay honest.

2. Got it. Jalen Hurts is Tiger Stadium-proof. Unflappable.

3. "They got burned a few times by Chad Kelly, but who hasn't?"

A. Kelly versus Alabama 26-40, 421 YDS, 3 TD
B. Kelly versus LSU 20-33, 218 YDS, 1 TD, 2 INT
c. One of these is better.

The hope for LSU is to put him in a situation that he's never been in before. Alabama hasn't been down in the forth quarter this year. What pressure has Hurts had to feel?

I am not saying he will get rattled but what will he do if/when the things he has done to everyone else don't work. I present my case for JFF and Chad Kelly (and others). LSU has not allowed a read option or scrambling QB to get their legs against us since Cam Newton.

To me he is the key to this game. He has hurt everyone he has faced whether through called runs or ad libs. Also Aranda's calling card is deceptive defense calls. How will he handle it. I am not asking for an answer but just saying this is the game question which will be answered Sat.
