FACT: Texas A&M was called The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas until 1963, and women were not allowed to attend until that same year.
FACT: In 1926 members of the aggie corps knocked a Baylor girl off of the back of a moving car, the melee that insued ended in the death of a senior aggie corps member, this all occured during halftime of the Baylor vs. a&m football game, Baylor won the game 20-9. Baylor then did not play the aggies in any sports for several years.
OPINION: Texas A&M is a big joke, their brainwashed legions of fans assume they are a sports powerhouse, when they havn't proven much.
So if an aggie ever tells you to "put up or shut up" which happens to be fairly popular among the agrics, you can send that right back at 'em
UT, Baylor, Texas Tech, SMU, Rice, University of Houston, UTEP, UNT, Texas State ,TCU and all the other Texas schools (minus all those schools who feed into a&m). The coalition of the humored will not be broken. a&m has gone on far too long about far too little. It's time for the brutal truth.
