Hilliard should be the Friday starter. Young man has been playing his arse off.

I think it should be Hilliard, Gilbert, Labas or maybe even Storz once he settles in. I just have always thought Hess is a perfect closer.

Hess has actually done better than I expected after seeing him earlier this season. Sucks he gave up 2 homeruns but it happens. Lange did the same last year. LSU needs to produce more runs.

Labas
Story
Hilliard

Gilbert and Hess to the pen. If this were to be, the Tigers would be going to the CWS. It means that they are fulfilling their potential. I say mid-April for about a month. I also believe all these freshmen will be playing including Hughes at SS with Smith at third.

Do you’d rather have him not used this weekend at all? After game 1 he’s pitched pretty well no need to waste him in the bull pen

He would’ve thrown Friday night if he was in the pen. Hilliard wouldn’t have thrown 9 innings and if you think he’s a waste in the bullpen then you didn’t watch the playoffs last year and you’ve never seen an elite closer

You guys are way to quick to want to change things. There’s no reason to move Hess right now.

of course there isn’t but spell check doesn’t know that. However, YOU DO KNOW why it’s “Story” instead of Storz. You just help but being an a-hole though.

You claim to be a long time super fan of LSU baseball yet twice today you made up names for LSU baseball players, fake baseball fan and message board supporter.

I know some fans are salty, but Our hitters didn't do us any favors in game 1 and game 3.

Vandy played VERY well. A very good defensive team.

We had a few mistakes that cost us in close games. I think when Labas and Storz are 100%, we will be an outstanding team.

Calling the CWS the playoffs tells me you don't watch a lot of college baseball either. If you watched all last season you'd know he'd didn't start closing games until the end of the season. And if you'd watched much this year you'd know he's had around a 3.50 ERA since his first start.

A lot of fans probably watched us play for the first time this season and think baseball is coached like football

Labas and esp Storz are untested. I think you should hurry and tell your story to Mainieri tho; it looks like you know more about baseball than hhim.

If only we had some evidence from previous seasons that the coach might know what he's doing and finishes the season strong, people might feel better.

It might also help if LSU was on track to win 20 SEC games. I wish we could've won the home series and avoided the sweep on the road.

Eta: I thought the sarcasm was obvious, but apparently it it was not.

You being sarcastic because that's exactly what we've done almost every year
