I think so. Although I don't really know how big the market is for kickers right now. Maybe if the new guy on the Saints doesn't work out?

I'm going to have to say no, the kid has been good but to make it as a NFL kicker is a huge task. Kickers that are drafted only make NFL roster 50% of the time and I don't see him having a shot to be drafted. Good consistent college kicker though.

Yes. And the Saints need him.

He has a strong leg. He barely missed that 56 yard field goal last year, and he's pretty accurate. I say yes.

I think the big knock on him is that he seems to choke in clutch situations...the missed extra point against Ole Miss and Troy, 2 missed field goals versus Florida last year. Has he been called on to kick a game winner? I honestly can't remember.

Yes. His accuracy is impeckable and when Deuce and Will Smith show him their "potions," he'll be the best kicker in the NFC.

He's listed as the 5th best nfl prospect this year, no way 5 kickers come out of college to make teams.

He surely has the leg on FG's. I have watched him in warm-ups quite a few times way before the game starts and seen him hit 60 yard FG's. I see him going to a camp, and if the situation is right of if the right person gets hurt, he might get a shot.

Nope.

NFL teams want kickers who can kickoff and he just can't do it. Also he's just right below that consistency level for FG kickers NFL teams would like to see. Very good college kicker, just doesn't have quite the leg or accuracy for the NFL.

honestly don't think so. there are so many kickers in college, but there are so few slots to fill in the nfl because of the durable nature of the position. high supply + low demand = like one or two new college kicker a year starting for an nfl team

colt is great, but he lacks distance on kickoffs. i wouldn't think he is one of the top 2 kickers in college.

I think Louie Sakoda out of Utah will be the top or in the top 2 kickers this year. He's been ultra accurate, has 50+ range and kicks off.

He's 54 of 63 in career FGs (86%)

I don't have a link to prove it, but I think about half of the teams in the NFL have punters kicking off. NFL kickers are a strange breed and David looks very non-chalant in his approach. His attitude and accuracy are tailor made for the NFL.

Doubt it

Very good college kicker, but there's been plenty of them over the years who just don't make it to the NFL.
