It's only a matter of time for the SEC to change their rule and allow beer sales.

How much could LSU generate in beer sales? Sales end at the start of the 4th quarter.

$6 for a 16 oz Bud/BL/CL/ML

West Virginia has added $516,000 per season via beer sale profit. I'm sure we could quadruple that to $2 mil per season.

If LSU offered beer at the concession stands we would be able, and need, to find a way to close in the other side of the stadium.

AND pay people to stay for the whole game with the leftover proceeds, after taking in the whole stadium curing aid, and world hunger.

The amount of piss balloons we'd be able to create would be unimaginable.

Bathrooms would need an upgrade, or just more altogether.

Bathrooms would need an upgrade.

They have studies showing a few things:

- This actually prevents some binge drinking before and during the game
- This creates great profit
- This keeps people in the stadium longer

We need to jsut go ahead and do it. There is no rule preventing it, just an unwritten agreement.

Agreed, but sell it in the stadium, our "concessions" are a joke.

Doesn't Texas do it now? Next, it'll be Texas A&M and then the rest of the SEC will follow.

SEC to change their rule

From what I've read in the past, it's not an SEC rule. More of an unwritten rule... I could be wrong.

Hopefully LSU would get some non piss tasting beers.

In Lafayette we have good craft beer on tap at the UL (Lafayette - optional) games.

I have never seen any issues with people getting in drunk fights, etc.

BUT, we have 10 times the Catholics in Lafayette. The Holy Roller crews would likely shite a brick and protest LSU games in Baton Rouge IMO.

But who cares. Move into the 21st century SEC.

keep in mind the beer consumption record at West Virginia was set at the LSU game...

one thing I would like to see is to allow the buyer to keep the cap so you don't spill beer all over the place...
