Going by the plan he typically uses for an open week, Orgeron is giving his players off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The school's fall break started Thursday, so Orgeron expects many players to head home.

Play Tuesday then! We would rather have a short week for Southern Miss than play three road games in 13 days! Lets just do it!

Funny thing about ESPN bitching about this is that ESPN will be ultimately responsible for it not getting played. They won't allow the cocktail party or the thanksgiving game to be rescheduled.

Since UF screwed up then the SEC should buy out the OOC opponents and force UF to play LSU on 11/19. That is the only option imo unless they move up the cocktail party.

Just realized I didn't say make it an LSU home game. That would be the Florida punishment.

The conference screwed the pooch already. Lack of leadership at the highest level. It's asinine for people to put any blame on LSU for this one.

The game should have been played today, period, After today, any game Sunday or Monday, would be viewed as placing athletics over academics. I don't agree, but i garuantee that would be the perception by many. There was no reason that this game could not be played somewhere today. Florida avoided an arse whipping by playing the system.

Typical sports bar and Internet board mentality that thinks everything's easy and flip a switch without knowledge of everything involved. Everyone thinks it's easy to call everyone back together and get ready for a trip and get equipment down there for a Monday night game. Go get back on your ba stools and have another beer and pretend you're solving the world's proble,s.

At the sole expense of LSU . And to the sole benefit of UForfeit. Of course.

My opinion is just that, there is only one just answer to this whole question.

SEC ACTIONS REQUIRED
1) Forfeiture by UF.
2) Reimburse LSU and possibly UF for a "settlement" of gate losses.

All of this is a failure of action by the SEC. UF forced the issue, despite LSU offering every opportunity to assist. SEC failed to take action in a timely manner to head it off. Piss on all of them.

Game could still be played Tuesday afternoon. LSU could fly in/out on the same day. If not, then LSUAdmin should tell SEC that we have a home game scheduled for Nov 19th with South Alabama. We will play either them or UF in Tiger stadium. If you choose to send UF then you must make all logistical and financial arrangements with the impacted programs. We will not give up our Senior home game and will not play three road games because UF and the SEC could not figure out how to reschedule the UF game for this weekend. Just let us know which team we will be playing on 11/19 by 11/01 so we can adequately prepare.
