I'm offering 2:1 bets on anyone who doesn't think we get a national seed.
I' know its not "locked" but lets be real. This isn't a strong year in CBB at the top. The #8 seed is gonna be pretty meh this year.

Sadly, there are some people that still believe this team has a lot of holes.

Like someone eluded to earlier, no team is really showing that it's much better than the rest. CWS is wide open this year. Could easily see a team outside the top 8 seed win it.
I wouldn't say LSU has "holes". There are areas I'm worried about and areas I'm happy with.
Our right side defense worries me. Leadoff guy. Closer. And Paul's late-game pitching decisions.

I'm happy with our starting pitchers. About 5 bullpen guys. Overall hitting and baserunning. Most of our defense.

That's my biggest thing.
Every time LSU loses a game, random poster comes out and complains about something.
That's fine, this team isn't perfect. However, a lot of times the complaints conclude with "this team won't make it to Omaha because..." when you know damn well these people haven't watched a second of a college baseball game that didn't include LSU.
The litmus test that everyone is grading this LSU team on is based on past LSU championship teams, not the current teams that they are competing with. That's dumb.
It is no guarantee that LSU will make it to Omaha this year. But if they don't, it won't be because they weren't good enough because they are the best team in the country.
