I think LSU actually played pretty well, but that things just went SCAR's way.
Also, LSU had a couple of funky starting lineup adjustments that probably won't be permanent.
The pitching was a little frustrating, but even so, the Tigers held a pretty good team to not that many runs. On the offensive side, there's nothing really wrong at the moment besides a run of bad luck I think. More runs will come again soon.

I agree Doc. 14 hits against Carolina's Saturday pitching is a great day. A decent manager could have produced a handful of runs from that - especially considering 8 of 9 lead off guys reached. Mainieri getting tossed had less to do with the balk and everything to do with him probably managing the worst game of his career.

Yeah I know. It used to be 4pm. I gave them a pass for last week, but 2 weeks is now a trend. Last week was about 6:30 or so. Terrible.

Really, why can't NC State and UNC play today? Who cares if it counts against the conference standings. Ole Miss/Miss St and Alabama/Auburn do it. Neither one of those teams wanted to risk taking another loss last week - hence the cancellation. They both chickened out and Fitt basically gave both credit for a series win - UNC stayed #1 despite a 2-2 week and NC State moved up into the Top 5.
