Coach turned the corner Sat night - yes, you read that right

Sure, the hat is still going to make you all scratch your head from time to time. That's never going to change.

But the trend of QB and Oline challenges is the ONLY thing that has allowed Bama to be a tad better of a football program than LSU over the last few years, and that is changing right in front of our very eyes.

McElroy and McCarron are the main reasons why Saban has outclassed Miles in overall recruiting, but Mett grew up Sat night, and we have 2 great young Qb's coming in next year along with the potential of Rivers.

Turner, Collins and Alexander on the line are a helluva group to continue building around.

Our recievers struggled for the better part of the year, but they stepped up Sat night, and will now be moving to a strength.

The defense will re-load in 2013, you can bet on that.

Miles deficiency has been QB, Oline and a few crazy sideline decisions.

Expect the sideline decisions to leave you scratching your head now and again...But you know what? An honest inspection makes that true for every coach.

A coach that had won more than 80% of his games seems like one that has already turned the corner, so based on results alone, I understand folks who do not agree with the title of this thread.

But, if you count results and also indications of correcting things that have kept the team from achieving even higher levels than the 2008-2012 teams, you may then agree that he turned a higher level corner this last weekend.

Les fricken Miles...the dude is legend, and will be building on that in a big way in his remaining time on the LSU sidelines.
