Last year the offense and special teams were huge problems for us. Coach O recruited and made hiring changes to address these issues. Unfortunately one of these changes didn't work out as he planned. I expect coach O to make another change this offseason to address the offensive problem. He may not fire Ensminger but a change will be made. He's done it before and he'll do it again.

He has created the problems for two straight years. He must clean them up to survive.

This is a head coach that might be named SEC coach of the year and you are talking about his survival. Dumbass

How do you think it's going to affect recruiting if he makes a change at OC for the 3rd straight year?

The only issue I've had since O became coach is this year's offense, everything else I think is "in the right direction". There is no reason we should be 104th in the country.

If O says "Ensminger has done a great job" and he doesn't address it, I will start losing faith.

I'm torn right now as to whether he'll make a change. He has shown to fix problem areas, however, I think he may have too much pride to admit Ensminger hasn't worked out.

... we'll see.

Did you see his username?

Nitwit. Most of the other delusional posters here don't have his built in excuse.

You got to love the early signing period. Hopefully most of them well be signed when the change is made.

Does John Emery Jr. know about this change or did the 5 star switch from UGA because he likes where our O is going?
2 current freshmen 5 star WR's
5 star Guard coming in with Emery
and more...
Hmmmm...

Sorry I should have been more clear. I meant for next year. If I'm another coach recruiting against LSU, I would be pointing that out and saying he doesn't know what he's doing. However, Coach O is a great recruiter and it may not matter.

Considering he said he doesn't know what the problem is, hopefully he brings in someone who does. Because as of now he doesn't know what to change.

Yep. He's doing a damn good job this season. That's not my question though. If he makes a change at the end of this season again, does that give coaches ammo to recruit against LSU for the next 6-8 months?

It will but its nothing more than what they have been doing the last few years. We've seen it before.

You bring up a good point.

I didn't think O would make a change, and now with the signing of Emery (if it holds), I certainly don't think he'll make a change.

He thinks it's a talent issue. That's what he said after the Bama game so why wouldn't we believe him?

Fair enough. As you say I'm sure Coach O has faced negative recruiting before.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am still trying to figure out why we fired Les Miles. He was fired for something that still exist.. Well, at least Les had a stable of RBs.

Mississippi State exposed the frick out of our average, at best, running game. If we can't establish any type of consistent running game, then it's going to be a 3 and out party.

If our offense can't get going early on, the defense will be doing all the work and by the 4th quarter they are wore our. Our offensive situation blows my mind.

When K briles is hired, it will greatly affect recruiting in a positive way.
