I think many are more caught up in what other SEC fans will think or say than about the quality of the hire. Once the dust settles, I think most will will rally behind the program. There were going to be a handful of negas regardless of who LSU hired.

oh, come on. I am a graduate and I love LSU to the core of my existence. football is not all there is to LSU. since I wanted Fisher or Herman, I am disappointed they didn't come here. but I damn sure am not pissed off. there are a lot of things infinitely more important than a fricking football coach.
i'm grown up and know the reality of not always getting what you want. coach O could still turn out to be the best hire. he won't lose to Memphis or SMU.

I'm no bandwagoner. I didn't want Orgeron to be our head coach, period.
Charismatic, recruiter, players love him. That can't be the only qualifications required. It just makes him easier to like.
Frankly, I'd rather have an a-hole, arrogant prick who gets results. I want our LSU coach to win and win big, tear up the competition and crush all in his wake like Godzilla.

Because he has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program. He wouldnt get interviewed at georgia, auburn, florida. Let alone hired.

All LSU all the time baby. I wanted Herman but the unknown ain't worth 6mill. If O wins they will shut up quick and jump on the bandwagon. Then as soon as something goes wrong they will come out in droves rinse repeat.
