Our line has really hurt us lately. When you can't generate pressure it doesn't matter what scheme you run. If our line improves were gonna get the kind of takeaways we saw in 2011. We have the defensive backs we just need a line and line backers to complement it. We now have it.

Absolutely, and he has some great DT's to work with right away.

I think he can motivate as well as recruit and I'm sure he has learned over the years.

If you don't consider him one of if not the best DL Coach in the country you don't know football.

I love the intensity he gets his players to bring to the field. If he gets everyone to buy in, good things will come.

Motivation is what this team has been lacking for a while.

Jamal Adams is of course not in reference here.

Love that dudes energy.

just to add, that during the season a former tiger d-lineman mentioned that our defense needed to get an attitude. i believe coach o can bring that part to our guys.

He's probably pretty pumped about the idea of working with Godchaux, Valentine, Lacoutore, Bain, Gilmore and Thomas.

LSU's O and D lines have been soft last 2 years. Anything to make them tougher, and I'm all for it.
