No shite. Look at all the failed coaches Michigan went through before getting Harbaugh. Alabama too, program went down before Saban came along.

He brought more energy and life is his interim tenure than Miles had in the past 6 yrs. I hope he succeeds.

Holy shite. The last 5 full year under miles had 4 10 win season and 4 top 16 finishes. Ed orgeron lost to every team he coached against with a pulse.

No program was knocking saban and miles door down until LSU made them great.
If they can keep the Louisiana kids, keep recruiting top5, let the OC do his job the program will be fine. Aranda has the defense on lock.
It's more to head coaching than X & O. You have to know how to put the right people in the right spot to succeed.
O has been a part of 2 dynasty usc and Miami he surely learned something along the way. He learned from his mistakes at old miss.
The fact he beat the shite out of less talented teams is a huge plus. He took the best teams 12 rounds. Lsu will be fine. Give him an off season to put his plan together and lets see what happens. He did great things on the fly this season.
I see him as a Bobby bowden type.

When Michigan wanted their coach,
not absolutely correct. I remember they wanted les back in 07 didn't get him. then they had rich rod and brady hoke after that before they were able to get harbaugh only because he got blackballed from the nfl. I saw a coach who help prepare his team to a 10 pt defeat against the best team of the decade which nobody else has done I may add and a holding call or two from it being 3-0. I saw a coach who prepared his team to play florida pretty good it wasn't his fault guice fumbled on goal line and his o.c.couldnt get the ball in the end zone. 5 red zone trips. but I guess u blame that on the head coach. and ohio st got their coach because the head coach faked heart issues and missing his family only to be head coach one yr later. lsu had nobody but herman or jimbo they both said no...lets deal with it. geaux coach o. least he love the program. least he gone be loyal
