I can't believe Alleva is such a terrible AD. Are you kidding me?!?! We really hired a D-like coach and when Bama wanted their coach, the got him. When Michigan wanted their coach, they got him. When Ohio Stste wanted their coach, they got him.
This is a worse hire than Johnny Jones. Haven't been this pissed in a very long time. ??????

Can I not want the program to do better than a historically bad head coach when they have 2-plus months to do so? No other program would hire this guy...if so, why has he not been considered for other HC jobs??

Just because LSU had two months to look for a coach, doesn't mean the coaches had two months to negotiate with LSU.
Personally I don't get all the doom and gloom. Never was high on Coach O getting the job but he is the coach so I want him to succeed.
