the best I can find from a quick google search is 2001 Miami had the most future NFL players at 38 on the roster. That would be an average of 9.5 players per class with 4 recruiting classes, 12.667 from just 3, so it's highly unlikely to have 17 from one class.

. Fact is, EVERY recruiting site has this as the worst LSU class since 2012.

Depends on how you measure it LSU was ranked 7th in 2017 on 247!composite which is the lowest ranking but was actually 3rd in total points per 247 at 287.66, ahead of 2013 and 2015 which both finished #5, fwiw 287.66 would have been 3rd in both years, so good class, some very exciting players, no reason to think it will shatter 2001 Miami though

Can we stop with this Eaux crap?

Yet anytime anyone writes "Go Tigers" instead of "Geaux Tigers" they get murdered.

You are showing everyone what the problem is with LSU's fan base... The players are overhyped and glorified before they even put a game jersey on.

Miami has always had nothing but a bunch of athletic thugs... LSU has real football players in this class and their potential is out of sight. They have real impact players in impact skill positions like safety, offense of line, receivers, running back and quarterbacks. Miami never had anywhere near the diverse position impact players that we have in this class. Mark my words this recruit class of 2017 for LSU will go down as one of the best and one with the highest impact on the NFL in recent memory. Book it!!!
