LSU head coach - Coach Eaux said this is his best freshman class ever. Who goes pro in your opinion?

JaCoby Stevens
K'Lavon Chaisson 0.9821
Austin Deculus
Jacob Phillips
Grant Delpit
Todd Harris
Kary Vincent
Myles Brennan
Edward Ingram
Tyler Taylor
Mannie Netherly
Lowell Narcisse
Saahdiq Charles
Patrick Queen
Neil Farrell
Clyde Edwards-Helaire
Justin Thomas
Racey McMath
Jontre Kirklin
Aaron Moffitt
Tory Carter
Justin Jefferson
Tyler Shelvin

I say Stevens easily. The #1 rated safety in the nation who can also play WR - which he is now.

K'Lavon Chaisson - if he is as good as billed may be the #1 pick.

Austin Deculus - could be a great OT and be a high draft pick. If not he will be in the NFL for a long time as a backup.

Jacob Phillips - first rounder. Overall #1 ILB for the 2017 class.

Grant Delpit - May be starting for LSU as a freshman before the season is over. Just another in a long line of defensive backs from LSU playing in the NFL. That's why he is here.

Todd Harris - Freshman who has blown everyone away and moved JaCoby Stevens to WR. He has NFL potential RIGHT NOW.

Kary Vincent - will get plenty of playing time at LSU as a freshman. NFL will come early for him.

Myles Brennan - Pro even if it is a backup for 10 years.

Edward Ingram - Monster and will be an NFL player for a long time barring injury.

Tyler Taylor - 11th rated ILB for the 2017 class. NFL bound.

Mannie Netherly

Lowell Narcisse - A smaller faster Cam Newton?

Saahdiq Charles - When he hits the field he will show he belongs in the BIG league.

Patrick Queen - As an LB or at another position, very talented athlete.

Neil Farrell - think so. Very fast D-Line

Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Sure, if half of the accolades he has gotten so far.

Justin Thomas

Racey McMath

Jontre Kirklin - Have heard him mentioned quite a bit. If it is valid he will be tbere also.

Aaron Moffitt
Tory Carter
Justin Jefferson

Tyler Shelvin - if he gets his grades in order the #2 rated DT for 2017 will play a long time in the NFL.

They literally haven't even played a game yet and you're predicting like 95% of the class to go pro. There's no way of knowing how things turn out. How about watching thier LSU career before worrying about their NFL one.

So that's 17 of 23 recruits. Not a bad class and it may be even more. Could be less of course.

I think the question will become, who goes in the first round from this class. I think 4 or 5 easily.

Want to check your numbers?

I predict 73%. Like I said it could be more, could be less. Coach Eaux said this is his best class and he has been named recruiter of the year multiple times. I believe him, especially when you look at the player rankings per position.

I win. Never heard of it. The only thing I do religiously is go to work, eat and drink.

You want to go player by player and dispute my post?

I accept check or paypal. When do I get the 4,827?

Too Early to tell, dudes will transfer out, some won't ever make the grades, injuries and one or two just not live up to the HS billing because they aren't the biggest or fastest anymore.

So you have only six members of the class not going pro? If this class has only six members who end up leaving the team without ever seeing the field, let alone just not going pro, it'll be a better class than most.

But Orgeron actually is Cajun. That's what makes the Coach Eaux stuff even more ridiculous.

So you think this class is on par with those early 2000s Miami classes? I haven't checked the numbers but it seems like that's what 17 out of 23 turning pro would be.

Normally we just want to replace our known starters with unknown freshmen..now we want to make a judgement on their NFL potential prior to ever seeing one on the field.
