Is he ready to be the next offensive coordinator? Or does he have a few years? It looks like he already has the quarterbacks and receivers learning from him already

According to whom? The rant? The media? Neither of these are good sources. I really have no idea, but the "book" on Craig is great recruiter, below average coach. So I'd guess, No.

I'm just thinking maybe coach cam would want to retire soon.

Yeah I would say he is definitely one of the top Recruiters in the country along with Coach O

He's the WR coach and they've got video of him working with them, and quotes from them saying that he is teaching them route running, etc.through the eyes of the QB. As far as the QB, there's a long interveiw with Harris in which he details how much and watch he's learning as the relationship he has with Craig.
I seriously doubt he's an Xs and Os guy like Cam, but he's developing relationships with these athletes unlike Cam, and believe it or not developing relationships with them has more to do with the learning process than simple being good at knowing the Xs and Os!

Not sure getting the opinion of fans, about a position coach, is going to have any basis in reality

DC is to Mobile and the state of Alabama in regards to recruiting, what Frank Wilson was to New Orleans and Louisiana to recruiting. South Alabama is a hot bed of great high school blue chip recruits, and I am happy that LSU has him now.
I think he will eventually become a great OC for someone, but I hope he remains with LSU.

If Frank has quick success at UTSA, then he will be one of the Top Candidates along with the other tired names always mentioned.... but NOT D. Craig. No chance.

There was some criticism that he does not teach the receivers to communicate with the QB at the line of scrimmage.

I believe this came from another coach, not sure though.
