And how can we get him back? He is a football focused AD, and I guy we could trust with the most important program at LSU. Alleva is such a joke.

It is truly amazing Alleva still has a job. Who likes the guy? I don't know one person that doesn't think he is a complete joke of an AD.

I don't hate Alleva like some people here do but if you told me that Dan wanted the LSU job, I'd be waiting on the 6th floor to help Joe pack.

You know I was joking the other night when I said in a post that I didn't think Alleva even watched football but the more I think about the more I become very clear that he doesn't. I don't think he watches any sport for that matter. Wonder what Emmert thinks of Joe? After what he built here.

Skip knew what he was doing when he hired this guy. Dan did all Skips work.
That said- Dan and his wife have a place in Hilton Head/ they have always wanted to live in the the Carolinas. Would some $$$ to get him back here.

He wanted to be head AD. So he left for that position at GaTech. Then realized he wanted to be at a real football school and took the Clemson opening. Would love to have him back.

I vote for a ban of any future AD's named Joe. The 2 we have had at LSU just happen to be the 2 worst we've had.

I thought he was only extended a one year contract sometime last year. It is time for a change at that position. Has there been a new contract issued to him by LSU?

Dan's one football coach hire ensured that GA Tech will never compete for a national title. His basketball hires have sucked too, and Tech has waaaay more upside in basketball than LSU.

All Sankey had was that Radokovich told Paul Johnson there was an nCAA investigation going when they told him not to. Another case of the NCAA acting like babies because they have zero investigative authority.
Radokovich is a money raising machine, and was vital to the Cox Athletics Center, TS Expansion, and other facilities upgrades that Saban demanded. Saban said, "this is what we need" and Dan made it happen.

There is no good, rational answer to your question. We hired Alleva off his disastrous tenure at Duke.
