Please explain
I think he's implying that had LSU not kicked the Honey badger off the team it would've changed the outcome of the Bama game. Even if that were the case, Georgia had a really good team that year and came 4 yards or so short of celebrating a National championship rather than bama. There's no way to tell whether LSU would beat UGA with the Honey badger or not. I'm sure all of BAMA, UGA and LSU would have destroyed Notre dame in the BCSNC

It's hard to say we definitely would have won.
But let's not pretend that a Heisman candidate CB wouldn't have made a difference in a 3 point loss in which the opposing QB threw for 300 yds and 4 TDs.

Bring Back Derek!!! (the guy who made this video and all the good highlight vids from a few years ago) His videos were so much better than the ones Lesmiles.net posts now. Those videos got people hyped. He works for UT now, but throw some cash his way LSU!

Always enjoyed watching how hard Addai ran

Love that video! Brings up great memories of watching the Tigers with my Dad and brother who are no longer with us. Went to a few of those games when I was able to come home. Thanks for posting; made me smile.

I was present at so many of those games. Each clip awakened memories of a specific setting, the bite of a particularly strong drink, the impatient murmur of the pregame crowd, columns and domes and bowls and steep risers, concrete and metal, a fellow fan I befriended in the stands, the girl I couldn't stop staring at, the muggy pall or the azure sparkle or the crisp chill of the weather, the exhilaration and exhaustion of victory, the squinty-eyed tension of barely watched fourth quarters, the hoarse cries, the hugs from strangers. A whole life as an LSU fan, all over this glorious country on inmumerable timeless Saturdays. Good stuff. Geaux Tigers.

Hello Mr. Borne!

loved it, but how do you have a classic video without Tommy Cassanova. The guy had plenty of punt and interception returns for TDs. Or Charles Alexander? Or Bert Jones? Or Dalton Hilliard? Or Honey Badger? Although the snipets were fast, so maybe I missed them.

Watching the video I thought:
1. "My goodness have we had some really GREAT running backs, or what?"
2. "Dorsey was a man amongst boys."
3. "Those fake FGs were awesome."
4. "Jacob Hester was fearless."
5. "Why not use Odell's punt return from the Ole Miss game in 2012 to pair up with Cannon's?"

That was beautifully written. You capture the magic of LSU football in words. Cheers.
One thing that strikes me about those 2003 and 2007 teams is the great leadership they had. Guys like Dorsey, Hester, Steltz, Spears, Hunt and Mauck. We need more of that type of fiery leadership from our current players. When things got tough last November, I kept thinking we needed a Dorsey type to grab these guys by the face mask and get them going. No way should THIS team be losing by 21 to the likes of Ole Miss, or by 17 to Arkansas, or even by 14 to Alabama.
In that respect, the highlight reel is somewhat bittersweet.
