Does any one else feel that claiborne won't be remembered like Patrick Peterson? I feel like Peterson was more respected but why? mo has just as good cover skills and has bailed us out on special teams once as well. he plays on the better defense and won an sec title and could win a national title. so as a tiger he's accomplished more than Peterson but I feel like he doesn't get the recognition he deserves. is this just me?

Mo had the same effect as PP. Teams threw to the other side of the field.

Peterson was more vocal and Mo has to share the spotlight with TM7.

Morris Claiborne is the best pure cover corner LSU has ever had.

Not that his accolades aren't prestigious, he will just be remembered like a little brother of PP7 and that's fine by me...

I don't think that's fair to mo to be remembered as petersons little brother when he has done everything Peterson has done and more. if Peterson were playing for us this undefeated year people would be claiming Peterson to be the best tiger ever

he prob won't be, and I'm not sure he should be. PP7 had a spotlight on him and lived up to it for pretty much the whole 2.5 yrs he played. if Mo were to come back, maybe he'd be even more highly thought of, but we know he gone.

Mo has said in interviews that he looked up to PP7 and that he copied a lot of.his game from him...

PP was great, but what I remember most about him is how he also seemed to be on the sideline getting fluids or he was sick or he had cramps. You dont hear Mo's name until he gets a pick or changes the entire game in some special way. I think he is the most underrated player we have. He is just not flashy like TM7 or PP. All he does is shut WR'r down, return kickoffs for game changing TD's, and make incredible picks. PP got burned alot his senior year especially against Julio Jones. In fact that is where I first noticed Mo and TM7. PP sat out and our defense improved in that game. TM and Mo were knocking the shite out of guys that PP couldn't cover. It seemed like the last year he gained weight to return kicks, but lost his speed. I am sure I will get trashed for this, but shite look at the pros, they are talking about moving him to offense for christ's sake.

I feel that teams have challenged Mo and thrown towards him more this year than they did to PP last year, could be why he has made more plays on defense.

I think the reason pp7 is more respected then mo is simply because he was a more highly touted recruit. He was "the man" before hw ever got on campus. Mo had to earn his respect and he has more then done that. I'm not gonna say one is or isn't better then the other, but mo had a longer path and I respect that.

PP held better WR's 1 on 1. To that guy who said Julio Burned PP all game that's foolish! Wilson threw some awesome passes and yes the WR won some but PP was on his butt the whole game. The only game that PP looked just terrible was the Penn State game and we were in zone a lot that game, for what reason i do not know! That is PP's weakness, he was terrible in zone. PP also got more pub bc of his size. Strong saftey size playing CB as fast as if not faster than almost all the WR's he faced. PP covered 1 on 1 & tackled like a saftey, which is rare nowadays for CB's so yes he got more pub! But in the end they both won almost the same awards so people did notice Mo!

His legacy sets a perfect example of what a leader, star & teammate on a championship caliber team should embody as one of the most talented and recognized members of the team.

No mouthing off on twitter
Collecting Trophies
And projecting as a top 3 pick in the draft

and all done as a 3 Star Recruit out of high school

The system worked for this kid. He is a shining example of the machine that is Les Miles' LSU Football
