This is a disgrace. Never in the BCS Era has a team been an undefeated #1 going into the NC Game and had less than 3 players on the All-American team.

Wing and Mathieu were certainly robbed. And Faulk should have gotten consideration, but I doubt he did.

And Lsu had 0 players on rivals top 100 CFB players preseason. The preseason and postseason awards are nothing more than being in high school again; a glorified popularity contest. These people have no credibility, kind of like bcs voters.

To me, a number of Lsu players should have been considered and could have made it. I know this: tyrann mathieu > Minzie

Yea I Def agree a few LSU players were robbed .
But everyone knows how it goes...
Its about who you know ,not how great you are.
And this list shows that exactly .
Not to take anything from any of the players choosen but a lot of them don't deserve it .
I hope LSU uses this as motivation and plays a great game ,which I do think they will.

Id much rather a championship ring as a whole then just win some award ..

How Wing is not considered the best punter in the country is beyond me. He is the greatest punter I have ever seen.

Usually punters will punt the ball and *try* to pin it deep. They fail a lot of the time. But not Wing.

It seems shocking if Wing DOESN'T pin the ball really deep and get the perfect roll so that it is downed inside the 5.

His accuracy is incredible.

Two observations are that Alabama's CBs are seniors and perceptionally highly regarded and Mathieu may be getting kept off due to the nature of his suspension.

Jarvis Jones is listed as sophomore. Maybe he was the one exception.

Wing's problem is that there is no NCAA statistic for punts inside the opponent's 20. Stupid fricks who do the voting only look at the NCAA stats

There must be one for net punting though and I'm sure he dominated in the category.
