How cool is it that our coach is such a great ambassador of CBB. Zero disrespect to CKM and CBK, but could CJJ be the best of them all?

CP3 is good at basketball, CPR was used on Damar Hamlin, and CNBC is boring.

LSU Football will likely finish in the middle of the SEC in ‘24.. offense will be worse, and BK did nothing except firing a coach to fix the defense. And literally no one cares about women’s college basketball except Baton Rouge, Iowa, and about 15 people in South Carolina.

I commend Brian Kelly for getting commitments from three awesome high school players, but in today’s college football, 2 of three will likely never play a meaningful snap for LSU.

so other than replacing the problem?

i mean shooting the old DC isn’t really an option.
what the hell else did you want him to do, somehow resurrect Buddy Ryan and buy the mid 80s Bears D?

Having the best offense in America. But don’t give him credit for that

Having the worst defense in America negates that. Next

I don’t know anything about women’s basketball, but LSU will win another national championship in baseball well before football.

Yeah. The guy who has the #1 QB, #1 WR and #1 RB committed and just had a Heisman winner is such a disaster. What an imbecile you are.

Can’t wait to see Major Burns or Zy Alexander win the Thorpe this year. & I’m sure whoever plays defensive line this year will tear it up because that have a new coach.

Feel I need to respond, as the originator of this thread. IMHO, this is not a judgement of CBK or any other hire, actually a perspective and congrats for a bunch of GREAT hires by Woodard. I see CJJ getting a statue and several more rings before he too retires.

The best thing about striking gold with a coach in their 40s is they could be your coach for 25-30 years. Nothing against BK but that's the downside to hiring a coach in their 60s.

You had no other choice based on where the program was coming off O. 39 scholarship players and LSU Footbsll had to start a WR/CB at QB in a bowl game they shouldn't even have made. It was egregious in every way.

You needed someone with experience building/rebuilding a football program that could immediately bring a calm and level of respect to LSU Football. BK has done just that. The 10 win seasons were lagniappe to this point.

The worst thing we could have risked was failing on a 40 something 1st time big program coach like Napier who we would have to fire after 3 years. We could have easily been the next Miami, falling off of relevance for a decade plus.
